Filipino companies are stepping confidently onto the global stage — and World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) continues to open doors for them.
Members of the WTCMM Business Club recently participated in the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) Global Business Forum (GBF) in Philadelphia, USA, joining business leaders, trade experts, and member World Trade Centers from across WTCA’s global network spanning more than 300 cities in nearly 100 countries.
Representing the Philippines were WTCMM Chairman and CEO Pamela D. Pascual, along with executives from Mensch Filam Corporation, GREEN Inc., and Ideal Works Advertising and Event Management Inc. Their participation underscored how local companies can successfully connect, collaborate, and compete at the global level.
“Through WTCA’s global network, we’re creating meaningful pathways for our members to expand their reach and explore new markets,” said Pamela D. Pascual. “Our role as a gateway for trade and investment continues to grow stronger as we link the Philippines to the world.”
WTCA’s Global Business Forum served as a powerful platform for business networking, partnership building, and discovering emerging global trends. In 2015, WTCMM hosted the event when it was still called the WTCA General Assembly.
Delegates engaged in high-level discussions, workshops, and business-matching activities that generated interest across sectors such as food and agriculture, manufacturing, innovation, and technology.
These interactions have already spurred follow-up talks on possible collaborations and investments. Alexis S. San Luis II, President of GREEN Inc., emphasized that global opportunities ultimately hinge on relationships and trust, noting how strong connections at the forum generated serious leads for his company.
Racquel Simon, President and CEO of Mensch Filam, underscored the power of global network accessibility in opening new opportunities, especially amid the rapid growth of regional economies shaping the future of trade.
Meanwhile, Simon Daryl Pecson of Ideal Works highlighted the importance of genuine partnerships and the growing role of innovation, infrastructure, and regional collaboration in driving sustainable international commerce.
Through its active involvement in the WTCA network, WTCMM continues to champion Philippine businesses as they pursue global opportunities. From hosting international business missions to facilitating trade connections, WTCMM remains a trusted partner in helping enterprises go beyond borders.
