1. What is a World Trade Center?
|

A World Trade Center (WTC) is more than a building or
an organization. It is a business "shopping center"
complementing and supporting existing services of private
and government agencies by providing international linkages
among entities engaged in international trade. |

What is the World Trade Centers Association?
|
| |
Established in 1970 by Founder and President Guy F.
Tozzoli, the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA)
is a not-for-profit, non-political association, with
its headquarters based in World Trade Center New York.
The World Trade Centers Association was organized to
encourage the expansion of world trade; to promote international
business relationships and understanding among nations;
to foster increased participation in world trade by
developing nations; to create and encourage mutual assistance
and cooperation among members, to promote and further
the concept of World Trade Center and to act in pursuance
of these goals. |

What is Manila World Trade Center Club and what services
does it offer? |
| |
The Manila World Trade Center Club is an integral part
of the World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM). The
Club integrates all the services and facilities of the
WTCMM into a package available to members. These services
include: Trade Information Services, WTCA Online (World
Trade Center Association's one-stop trade information
hub), Business Center services, Trade Education services,
Trade Missions, Display and Exhibit facilities, and
so much more. |

How does one become a member of Manila World Trade Center Club? |

An applicant has to submit his/her application form
together with the requirements and the corresponding
payment of joining fee and annual membership dues. |

6.
Does my membership with Manila World Trade Center Club give
me
access to member benefits in other World Trade Centers? |

Yes. Manila World Trade Center members will enjoy reciprocal
privileges at all World Trade Center worldwide. Membership
in the Manila World Trade Center Club (MWTCC) is your
key to the same services, facilities, amenities and
privileges given by sister World Trade Centers to their
own members. |

7. How many World Trade Centers are there all over
the world? |

There are nearly 300 WTCs in almost 100 countries worldwide. |
|

8. How many companies are affiliated with World
Trade Centers Association? |
| |
There are more than 750,000 companies affiliated with
World Trade Centers Association members around the world. |

| 9.
Is World Trade Center Metro Manila an agency of the government?
|
| |
No. World Trade Center Metro Manila is a private corporation
owned by the Manila Exposition Complex Inc. and managed
by the World Trade Center Management, Inc. World Trade
Center Metro Manila is a member of the ICCP
Group of Companies. |

10. How do I make my reservation for the WTCMM
exhibition hall? |

| |
- Fill-out
the standard Application Form (given by Marketing
department) in four (4) copies.
- Submit
the fully accomplished Application Form together
with the following requirements:
- Project
Brief (a short background of the event to
be organized to include objective/s, product/
visitor profile, ad and promo plan, etc.)

Corporate Secretary's Certificate or Board
Resolution authorizing the representative
or signatory of the contract to sign on
behalf of the entity.
- VAT
Exemption Certificate, if the contracting
party is VAT-exempt.
- Upon
approval of the said application, Marketing
will prepare the corresponding contract (and
its annexes, if necessary) to include hiring
period and payment schedules and deadlines.
- Acceptance
of the contract requires signed conforme of
the letter with the corresponding stipulations
and payment of the equivalent downpayment required.

Who do we talk to regarding food requirements for our events at
the World Trade Center? |
| |
Tamayo’s Catering/Restaurant is World Trade Center's exclusive restaurant and catering service. All food and beverage requirements should be coordinated with them at all times. |
|
|
|
|
12. Who are the World Trade Center's accredited
service contractors? |
| |
WTCMM has assigned accredited service contractors to
move or work within the exhibition hall. The Organizer
may appoint one (1) official contractor for his/her
event which will be responsible to the venue for any
damages.
