A member of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) of New York, World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) is the first exhibition venue in the Philippines listed and recognized by the Union des Foires Internationales or UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry. Opened in October 1996, WTCMM is a pioneer in the provision of a world class exhibition venue in the country. Preferred Venue for Prestigious Events
WTCMM is the preferred venue for international and professional events. Notable examples of these are the Asia Pacific Economic Conference (APEC), the Philippines having played host to it in 1996 and 2016 ; The ASEAN Summit – where WTCMM was the International Media Center; National Women’s Summit, where about 15,000 delegates were in attendance and no less than then US First Lady , Mrs. Hillary Clinton , was its Guest of Honor ; the Philippine Economic Basin Dinner reception that was attended by prominent foreign economic ministers of Asia ; the country show of France dubbed as “Le Rendezvous de France, “ where replicas of the Eiffel tower and Da Louvre Museum were built inside the hall ; and, more recently, the 1st and the 2nd National Priests’ Convention attended by 4,500 and 5,500 priests, respectively.
WTCMM is the venue of many of the major exhibitions and trade shows that are participated in by foreign delegations and buyers from different parts of the world. It offers a fully equipped facility in a strategic location that offers excellent visitor mileage and accessibility to the international airport and seaports, entertainment and cultural facilities, five-star hotel accommodations as well as to Makati, the main central business district in the Philippines.
Spacious and Exhibition-Friendly
WTCMM has more than 24,000 sqm of gross floor area, consisting of 11,300 sqm of contiguous indoor space at ground level and 11,500 sqm outdoor space. WTCMM has very user-friendly features, ensuring not only ease in build-up, but also reduction in the cost of staging exhibitions and events requiring large, unobstructed space and sophisticated setting.
WTCMM is affiliated with the World Trade Centers Association, comprising of over 319 WTC members in 88 countries worldwide. This unique system of reciprocity gives organizers the unequalled opportunity to promote their events to the international business community.
Designed by the famous Gensler and Associates, whose works included the second phase of the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, WTCMM boasts of state-of-the-art facilities and amenities at par with the world’s best. The exhibition hall of WTCMM has a total floor area of 11,300 square meters and a floor-to-ceiling height of 10 meters, which allows flexibility and freedom in even the most complex event design layout, such as two-storey exhibition booth set-ups and sprawling designs.
In addition, because the halls are located at grade level, it can accommodate heavy equipment and other massive structure for construction shows and industrial shows that feature heavy exhibition materials. The provision of water supply and drainage in the exhibit halls also enable exhibitors to be more adventurous with their designs. Agricultural shows can stage irrigation system displays, while architectural and design shows can have working water feature designs and fountains inside the hall.
The WTCMM also offers a full range of services such as a business center and meeting facilities, all complemented by a seasoned team of professionals in its staff.
